Tracking Habits and I Made A Pretty Habit Tracker for You to Download!

10:19 AM Mason Wallock 0 Comments

See the file at the bottom. It's an A5 in size. I'm new at creating pages, but I'm pretty proud of it!

A habit tracker is a great way to stay on top of things that you want to do everyday. It could be taking your vitamins, going for a run, remembering to blog, or anything like that. Here' s what mine looks like in my bullet journal for June.

Totally not as fancy but still it works!
Download the habit tracker I created or create your own. Either way you'll find that you actually do the things you write down to simply color in that little box. You want it to be pretty when the month is done, at least I do!

Tell me in the comments what you're most excited to track and if you downloaded the design I created.

Sorry for the ugly box down there, but when you click open in a new window your habit tracker is there ready for you.

Interactive Journal Page Ideas - What's Your Mantra?

6:43 PM Mason Wallock 0 Comments

Coming up with a mantra is a great inspirational page to put in your journal. It is something you can look at every single day and reaffirm your purchase. Mine is simply to do my best everyday. That means putting in the effort to live my dreams and push to do what I want to do in this life.

Your mantra can be anything, and you can of course decorate it anyway you want to!

Share your mantras with me below in the comments if you want to. If not just repeat it to yourself several times a day and make sure to live it!

For Our First Activity Let's Make Up a Ridiculous Story

4:51 PM Mason Wallock 1 Comments

Okay so before we do our first ever activity let's talk for just a second about interactive journaling. You don't have to have a store bought journal to do this. Some people prefer it because it's neater and they like the idea of carrying around. A notebook you have will work just fine. If you don't have a notebook then do this activity on a piece of paper until you get a notebook.

I created a bullet journal with a pad of graph paper from Staples. You'll see pictures for it.

So that being said let's dive in to the fun!

In this story you get to be the hero!
This is a great way to picture yourself doing something positive and saving the day.
You choose the type of hero you want to be average Joe, powerful King, or super hero.

This is the scenario...

An evil wizard has taken over your town/building/country/kingdom.
He's stolen an item of great importance that gives him a great deal of power.
You need to determine where he's hiding and what he plans to do with the item of great importance.
AND SAVE THE DAY!

Now, you can be as personal or as abstract with this story as you want. Perhaps what he's stolen has great importance to you in real life. If not maybe it's just an object or power you've completely made up.

Some things to remember as you do this.
You don't have to worry about grammar and spelling, this isn't an English test this is your hero story.
It can literally be about anything you want as long as you include the four points given above.
Have fun with the story this is about expressing your creativity and putting yourself in a positive light.

You don't have to share with me, but I'd love to see some of your stories in the comments. I'll write my own as well in my journal to enjoy the activity with you. If you're just now coming to the blog, welcome! Share you story and then move on to do all the other activities. I want to build a creative community of journaling enthusiasts and turn people onto journaling who aren't quite into it yet.

Now get to writing and I can't wait to see you as hero's!

Mason
